The CO2Open program is a voluntary membership organization that provides comprehensive, automated, digital monitoring and verification of activity within a company or other organization working towards a specific sustainability goal such as a net-zero carbon objective. The program utilizes the dMRV methodology pioneered by Spiro Carbon, a global leader in carbon verification to provide defensible, publicly auditable proof of a company's carbon reduction claims on an annual basis.

By committing to total transparency in the supporting data and data sources, participating members demonstrate their sincere efforts to reduce their carbon footprint without engaging in any of the misleading practices of the past.
